Feed the homeless
The VBS experience was amazing. Helping out and loving the kids was great. Watching the kids enjoying the crafts, games, and story time was really awesome. The orphanage was cool and loving on children who have no parents. Playing soccer with them was an experience. The children were really with it, to the point of aggression, but after it was over they were very thankful and friendly. They loved the candy. The homeless experience was very convicting. To get way out of your comfort zone and see how some people made wrong decisions and the impact it had on their life.
Thursday, June 25 Wrightsville Beach Baptist
Volcano, VBS
The volcano was really, really cool. Thank you for that opportunity. The VBS Thursday was great because we got a chance to get very intimate with the children. It is great to be with other groups from the states but to get some one on one time with students and to only have one guy do the work that is needed to get the VBS done successfully was a great challenge. This was one of the most impacting experiences for our students.
Friday, June 26 Wrightsville Beach Baptist

Today we were blessed to visit schools and hang out with kids. We played games, did crafts, and talked with many children. It was amazing how accepting and loving the kids and adults were. They even gave us cake at the end. How awesome it is to serve God in Costa Rica today. We also had the opportunity to stop at a park and pass out balls, bears, Frisbees and such. It was a blessing to share with the kids and see how much joy they have even though they have nothing.
