9:19 pm (Local Time) – Wouldn’t you know after my comments on the rain yesterday, it didn’t rain at all today! 9:19 pm (Local Time) - Non sapete dopo le mie osservazioni sulla pioggia di ieri, non ha pioggia a tutti oggi! We had a beautiful day and it worked out great. Abbiamo avuto una bella giornata e ha funzionato grande. We went to church in the morning and fortunately, we had Cesar there to translate for us. Siamo andati in chiesa la mattina e per fortuna, abbiamo avuto Cesar ci consenta di tradurre per noi. Another first for me though during the service, they take an intermission. Un'altra prima per me anche se durante il servizio, essi prendono uno intervallo. A gentleman spoke on Apocalipsis (Revelation) chapter four and then after the intermission, the pastor led a Bible Study. Un signore ha parlato a Apocalipsis (Rivelazione) capitolo quattro e poi, dopo l'intervallo, il pastore ha condotto uno studio della Bibbia. We got to sing songs in Spanish, which was neat. Abbiamo avuto modo di cantare le canzoni in spagnolo, che è stato pulito.
After lunch (they had pizza delivered), we headed out to an orphanage. Dopo il pranzo (che avevano espresso la pizza), abbiamo intitolato ad un orfanotrofio. We were going with the men’s and women’s soccer teams from Bethel University and they were a ways behind us so our great bus driver, Guillermo, took us sight seeing. During our drive we also passed a volcano which hasn’t erupted since 1963. Nel corso della nostra guida abbiamo anche superato un vulcano che non ha eruttato dal 1963. We also saw the ruins of an old cathedral, which was destroyed by an earthquake, and the new cathedral which was massive, white, and beautiful. We finally arrived at the orphanage and had a great time. Siamo finalmente arrivati al orfanotrofio e ha avuto un grande tempo. There are over 100 children of all ages that live there. Ci sono oltre 100 bambini di tutte le età che vivono lì. They were so excited to see us. Essi sono stati così entusiasti di vedere noi. We were able to do a bunch of different things including: Siamo stati in grado di fare un mucchio di cose diverse, tra cui:
· Played around with volleyballs or soccer balls. Giocata con circa Volleyballs o palle di calcio.
· Played “Duck, Duck, Goose.” Giocata "anatra, anatra, oca".

· Played on the playground. Giocata sul parco giochi.

· Took lots of pictures – they loved having their picture taken and then wanted to see it right away on the digital camera. Ha preso un sacco di immagini - essi hanno amato il loro ritratto preso e poi ha voluto vedere subito sulla fotocamera digitale.
It was a lot of fun to play with the children, and it was really hard to leave…four of the children came down to the fence right by our bus and were waving goodbye, blowing us kisses, and sticking out their lip, giving that sad face. We finished the night having dinner at Friday’s…Cesar, Guillermo, and Marianella were able to join us. Abbiamo finito la notte a cena presso il Venerdì ... Cesar, Guillermo, Marianella e erano in grado di unirsi a noi. It’s the first receipt I’ve ever signed that had a six digit number. We got back to the villa and took some time to debrief about our experience. Abbiamo torna alla villa e hanno preso un po 'di tempo a debriefing sulla nostra esperienza. Many of the girls had really neat stories about their interactions with the children. Molte delle ragazze erano veramente pulito storie sulle loro interazioni con i bambini.
Tonight was the last night we’ll all be together. Questa sera è stata l'ultima notte noi tutti insieme. Heather Craker, Monique, and Annika fly home tomorrow so Heather and Monique can get back for some of the Resident Assistant training that is currently going on. As for those of us who are remaining in Costa Rica, we’re leaving at 8 am to do another volleyball clinic and then after lunch, we are going to distribute food. We are expecting God to bless our ministry tomorrow as he has during our entire trip. Ci aspettiamo a Dio di benedire il nostro ministero di domani come ha durante tutto il nostro viaggio.
