Today we returned to Casa De Luz and continued the work we had begun yesterday. Hoje nós regressou à Casa De Luz e continuou o trabalho que havia começado ontem. A few stories from the day: Algumas histórias a partir do dia:
Some of us worked on finishing the kitchen. Alguns de nós trabalharam no acabamento da cozinha. We painted the ceiling and the walls, but despite our efforts, the old paint on the ceiling kept peeling. Nós pintou o teto e as paredes, mas apesar dos nossos esforços, a antiga pintura no teto mantidos peeling. It was really hot and swarms of flies surrounded us while we worked, but we pushed through and after lunch God blessed us with fans (the electricity was back on) and less flies! Estava muito quente e enxames de moscas cercado enquanto nós trabalhamos, mas é empurrado por meio depois do almoço e Deus abençoou-nos com os fãs (de volta à electricidade foi ligado) e menos voa! We kept at it and were able to finish despite the old paint peeling and now it looks great! Mantivemos a ele e foram capazes de terminar, apesar da velha pintura descascando, e agora ele está maravilhoso! Praise the Lord! Louvai ao Senhor!
“At Casa De Luz, I spent much of the day playing with the kids. "Na Casa De Luz, passei boa parte do dia brincando com as crianças. They were awesome and were a great joy to be with. When I had to say goodbye, she cried and wouldn’t let go of my arm. Quando eu tinha a dizer adeus, ela chorou e não largou do meu braço. It was so hard to leave. Foi tão difícil de sair. In the prayer garden, Kelly is our animal rescuer J . Na oração do jardim, Kelly é o nosso salvador J animal. Yesterday we had an encounter with a tarantula that she kindly relocated for us. Ontem tivemos um encontro com uma tarântula que ela gentilmente deslocalizada para nós. Soon after, we happened upon a snake in our work area and not only did she pick it up for us but she carried it around for at least 20 minutes. Pouco depois, nós aconteceu após uma cobra na nossa área de trabalho e não só ela levá-lo para nós, mas ela levou isto em torno de pelo menos 20 minutos. That was just a part of her animal adventures for the day. Isso foi só uma parte do seu animal aventuras para o dia.
Much progress was made on the wall surrounding the prayer garden, although we were not able to finish the job. Muito progresso foi feito sobre o muro em torno da oração jardim, ainda não fomos capazes de terminar o trabalho. The roof is not quite done yet either, but we made progress there as well. O teto não é bem feito, quer ainda, mas fizemos progressos lá também. While we will not return to this orphanage, they have four men coming tomorrow to work on the roof and hopefully finish the job. Embora não vamos voltar a esse orfanato, quatro homens que têm vindo a trabalhar amanhã no telhado e esperamos terminar a tarefa.
On the inside of the orphanage a farm scene mural including some pigs, a horse, a cow, some birds and chickens and even a spider was painted along the hallway inside. Sobre a um orfanato de dentro da fazenda cena mural incluindo alguns porcos, um cavalo, uma vaca, algumas galinhas e outras aves vivas e até mesmo uma aranha foi pintado no interior, ao longo do corredor. Groups of us were able to just hang out with the kids throughout the day, holding them, feeding them and dancing with them. Grupos de nós era capaz de só sair com as crianças durante todo o dia, mantendo-os, a sua alimentação e dançar com eles. It was very difficult to tear ourselves away from these kids when we were called to board the bus. Foi muito difícil a lágrima de distância de nós mesmos quando estes miúdos que éramos chamados a bordo do autocarro.
In the morning we will go to a sugarcane village and in the afternoon visit another orphanage for handicapped children. Na manhã iremos para um canavial aldeia e durante a tarde visitar um outro orfanato para crianças deficientes. We will not be doing any work projects here, but will interact with the children and love on them for a little while. Não vamos estar a fazer qualquer trabalho aqui projectos, mas irá interagir com as crianças e sobre o amor deles por uns tempos.
