We got to spend most our day with two very different groups of kids. Temos de gastar mais o nosso dia com duas questões muito diferentes grupos de crianças. In the morning we went to a sugarcane village. De manhã fomos a um canavial aldeia. The kids came streaming out of the houses as our buses drove down the narrow dirt roads. As crianças vieram fluindo fora de nossas casas como os autocarros levou para baixo o estreito sujeira estradas. Each of us had at least a couple kids hanging on at every moment we were there. Cada um de nós tivesse pelo menos um casal de filhos pendurados, a todo momento, nós estávamos lá. We played “pato, pato, ganzo” aka duck, duck, goose; tag; had our hair braided; and visited the kids’ houses and school. Perguntei.   “No, they’re terrible!” Needless to say that was a humbling experience for our guys. "Não, eles são terríveis!" However, we still had a great time in the village and in the end, through a translator, got to talk to the kids about Jesus. No entanto, temos ainda um grande momento na vila e no final, através de um tradutor, temos que falar com as crianças sobre Jesus. It was so hard to say good-bye. Foi tão difícil dizer adeus. Those kids’ faces have become engrained in our hearts. Aqueles miúdos' rostos tornaram-se enraizado nos nossos corações.

Our afternoon was emotionally draining. Nossa tarde foi emocionalmente drenagem. We went to a handicap orphanage. Fomos a um handicap orfanato. For some, this was the first time seeing so many physically and mentally disabled children. Para alguns, esta foi a primeira vez vendo tantas crianças com deficiência física e mentalmente. Sometimes the only thing we could do is touch them. Às vezes, a única coisa que podemos fazer é tocar-lhes. Most have to lay down all the time but their smiles are infectious. A maioria tem que fixar o tempo todo, mas os seus sorrisos são infecciosos. Through tear-filled eyes we laughed and smiled and reached out in the small ways we could. Através da lágrima-cheia nos olhos e riu sorriu e chegou no pequeno maneiras podíamos. We are so grateful to the women who spend every day with those beautiful children. Nós somos tão gratos à mulheres que passam todos os dias com aqueles lindos filhos. Our hearts can also find joy in the fact that someday those children too will be able to walk and talk in heaven. Nossos corações também pode encontrar alegria no fato de que algum dia essas crianças também será capaz de andar e falar no céu.

Our class is learning new lessons everyday. A nossa classe está aprendendo novas lições todos os dias. Our eyes are being opened to the world around us and we continue to become more and more grateful for all the blessings we have been given. Nossos olhos estão sendo abertos para o mundo à nossa volta e vamos continuar a tornar-se mais e mais grato por todas as bênçãos que nos foi fornecida.
