Community Gospel Church – June 16
Hi Parents!
Well, we just wanted to send you an update and let you all know that we made it here very safe. No concerns! The flights were easy. We only had a delay in Florida in that the aircraft was late…. and so we arrived in Costa Rica about 2 hours late. But it was no problem, and Score was there to meet us. We also got a good night’s rest last night.
This morning we distributed tracks in downtown Costa Rica. It was amazing how God allowed us to serve Him in this. You see, with us being Americas, and with the Costa Rica culture….they are very interested in accepting our tracks. Many people read them and studied them as we passed them out. We handed out an estimated number of 3000 tracks in about 90 min. GOD IS GOOD IN HOW HE IS BLESSING US IN SERVING HIM! PTL
This afternoon we delivered our VBS program to 100 kids. And, God so blessed us again. SCORE provided us some great guidance on what works well, and we prayed as a team that God would work through us….and that we would be vessels for Him. The kids delivered the program well, and both teachers and kids connected with us as we delivered God’s message.
The full team is very upbeat, and now it’s supper time! So, my last note is all the kids give all of you hugs and kisses! Thanks for all your support and prayers! Please continue with your prayers, and we will plan to update you again on Thursday.
