Central Baptist Church, Va – Sunday
Today we had the opportunity to worship in a church called Juan 3:16 in San Pedro. The service was very encouraging and the Pastor brought a great message about the hope we have in Christ using the story of the woman Jesus healed in Mark 5. We also were able to minister to the church with Spanish songs and a clarinet and saxophone duet.
This afternoon we were able to minister to a Bible class that is taught by some local missionaries. Today was their end of the semester party and we were invited as their “entertainment.” We were able to encourage them using an instrumental duet, the hand bells, and by presenting the
drama. We finished our time by playing a great game where they had to figure out what Bible character they represented by using yes/no questions. They really enjoyed it and it was a great afternoon.
We hope that each of you was as blessed by your day in God’s house as we were. Even though our church services today were very different than yours, we both had the chance to worship our great Lord and Savior!
