Day 5 Dia 5
Today, we woke up early and left at 7 AM to head out on a long bus ride to the Punta Leona resort. Hoje, acordei cedo e à esquerda em 7 AM a cabeça para fora em uma longa viagem de ônibus a Punta Leona resort. On the way, we stopped at a bridge where our guide Raymond told us to beware of the crocodiles and their capacity to bite off the toes of unsuspecting tourists. No caminho, que parou em uma ponte onde nosso guia nos disse Raymond dos crocodilos para beware ea sua capacidade de morder confiante off dedos dos pés dos turistas. He also told us that Steve Irwin once did a demonstration at the bridge and captured a 3 meter crocodile! We admired the crocodiles from a good safe distance on the bridge, and also came across a snake and iguana along the way. Four hours later, we finally arrived with our faces pressed against the windows taking in the awesome view of the ocean. After eating another huge and delicious SCORE meal, we spent the first three hours at the Playa Mantas beach soaking up rays, exploring, picking up shells, swimming, and playing beach soccer. At 2:45, we checked in and moved into our AIR CONDITIONED rooms that were named after various South American countries. After a quick 15 minute rest, we headed out to explore the other beach: Playa Blanca (the white beach). Right away, we were in awe of the gorgeous scenery: clear water, rolling waves, and rock formations with all kinds of crabs and slugs to investigate. Agora mesmo, nós estávamos no temor das belíssimas paisagens: água clara, o material ondas, e formações rochosas com todos os tipos de balas para investigarem e caranguejos. We were reminded, once again, of how incredible our God is by what He has created! Fomos lembrou, mais uma vez, de forma incrível o nosso Deus é, por aquilo que Ele criou! We did a lot of body surfing and definitely got our fair share of sodium for the day. Nós fizemos um monte de surf e corpo ficou definitivamente nossa parte justa de sódio para o dia. While the water was clear, it wasn’t necessarily the best tasting! Enquanto a água estava claro, não era necessariamente a melhor degustação! To finish off at the beach before dinner, we watched the beautiful Costa Rican sunset just as a few drops of rain fell on us. Para terminar na praia antes do jantar, vimos o lindo pôr-do-sol costarriquenhos apenas como algumas gotas de chuva caiu sobre nós. We were definitely blessed with great weather during our time at the resort, because those were the only raindrops we saw! Nós fomos abençoados com uma grande dúvida meteorológicas durante o nosso tempo com o recurso, pois foram estes os únicos raindrops vimos! We made it back to our rooms with plenty of time to prepare for the dinner feast, which Raymond and Tom had been talking up all week. Fizemos isso de volta para os nossos quartos com bastante tempo para se preparar para o jantar festa, que tinha sido Tom Raymond e conversando até a semana toda. They definitely weren’t exaggerating; they had everything from fresh fish to muy bueno leche cake which only some of us were lucky enough to taste before it ran out! A lot of us headed back to the beach for a night time stroll or just to sit and relax, listening to the crashing waves. All the while, we were being stalked by the fearless raccoons, but thankfully poppy pep was on guard and protected us all. Todo o tempo, fomos sendo stalked pelo destemido guaxinim, mas felizmente a papoula pep estava em guarda e protegida a todos nós. Others of us were exhausted from the day and went to bed right away with the intention of getting up early to watch the sunrise. Outros de nós estavam esgotados desde o dia e fui para a cama logo com a intenção de levantar-se cedo para assistir ao nascer do sol. To conclude, we were all thankful for a fun and relaxing day to unwind and have some quality team bonding and to get a restful night sleep in a cool, comfy bed! Para concluir, ficámos todos muito gratos por um dia para se divertir e relaxar e descontrair ter alguma equipe de qualidade de Soldadura e obter uma repousante noite de sono em um local fresco, confortável cama! Hey there… well after a few days in the cloudy mountains we were finally heading off to the beach. Ei lá ... bem depois de alguns dias nublados nas montanhas, fomos finalmente rubrica off para a praia. Yeeeeeeah!!!!!!!!!! Yeeeeeeah !!!!!!!!!! We rose early and we had a long drive ahead of us, but we didn’t mind because that just meant we had a lot of time to play mafia!!!!!!! Nós subiu cedo e tivemos uma longa viagem pela frente, mas nós não importa, porque significava que só tínhamos um monte de tempo para jogar máfia !!!!!!! Many games of mafia later we emerged from the hills. Muitos jogos de máfia mais tarde, surgiram a partir dos montes. We had finally reached the ocean. Tínhamos finalmente chegado ao oceano. Before we knew it we were on the sand playing beach soccer. Antes de nós sabia que nós estávamos na areia jogando futebol de areia. A few of us went exploring down la playa Blanca and found a bunch of hermit crabs. Alguns de nós fomos explorar estabelece la playa Blanca e encontrei um monte de ermitão caranguejos. After moving into our rooms we all went to the southern beach to watch the sunset and oh what a sunset it was!!! Depois de passar para os quartos todos nós fomos ao sul da praia para assistir ao pôr-do-sol e um pôr-do-sol oh o que era! After a long day we returned to our rooms and ate some dinner. Após um longo dia que retornou para os nossos quartos e comi alguns jantares. We were dead tired afterwards, but adventure still called us…so a bunch of us walked down to the beach to just relax, chat and stargaze. Estamos cansados foram mortos depois, mas ainda nos chamou aventura ... para um monte de nós caminharam até à praia só para descontrair, bater papo e stargaze. Day five was one to remember. Foi um dia cinco de lembrar.

The fifth day of our mission trip served as a needed day of rest, reflection, and relationship building. O quinto dia de nossa viagem missionária servia como um dia de descanso necessário, reflexão e relacionamento edifício. We used the opportunity to explore God’s creation and to continue to grow the God-glorifying friendships throughout the team. Utilizamos a oportunidade de explorar uma criação de Deus e para continuar a crescer a Deus glorifica-amizades por todo o time. It was great to see a mix of forty young men and women all sharing in beach soccer, body-surfing, shell scavenging, tree climbing, conversation, relaxation, and plenty of GOOD eating!!! Foi óptimo ver um mix de quarenta jovens, homens e mulheres em todas partilha futebol de areia, corpo-surf, casca limpeza das ruas, subindo árvore, conversa, o relaxamento, e muitas BOM comendo! Most amazing of all was observing the sunset from the beach. Mais surpreendente de tudo foi observar o pôr-do-sol da praia. The splendor of God was clearly visible as we explored the rocks and swam at the beautiful beach. O esplendor de Deus era claramente visível à medida que exploraram as rochas e nadou na bela praia. We stood in awe as the sun slowly broke from the clouds and descended behind the distant island positioned opposite the beach. Nós estava no Domingo devagar temor quanto ao falido descia das nuvens e por trás da ilha distante posicionado no lado oposto à praia. The sky grew orange in contrast with the bright green vegetation surrounding the water. O céu laranja cresceu em contraste com o verde brilhante vegetação em torno da água. Cliffs loomed on the right, while rocks jutted into the see on the left. Cliffs loomed à direita, enquanto que em rochas jutted a ver do lado esquerdo. Mere minutes from sunset, a soft rain began to fall. Meros minutos do pôr-do-sol, uma suave chuva começou a cair. It brought forth a rainbow behind us—arching over the palm trees too completely render us speechless. Ele surgiu um arco-íris atrás de nós-mestre durante o palmeiras também tornar-nos completamente atônito. What more is there to say? O que mais há a dizer? God is beautiful, his creation amazing, and he is graceful enough to reveal it to us! Deus é belo, a sua criação incrível, e ele é bastante graciosa revelá-la para nós!

Day 6 Dia 6
Day 6 has arrived and passed before we knew it. Dia 6 já chegou e passou antes de nós sabia disso. We woke up at varying times at the resort and headed to breakfast. Nós Acordei em várias ocasiões, o resort e direcionado ao pequeno-almoço. One thing for sure is that I know it’s nice to wake up to air conditioning. Uma coisa com certeza é que eu sei é bom para despertar para o ar condicionado. Yesterday and today were necessary to recover. Ontem e hoje foram necessárias para recuperar. I know personally I slept for 12 hours and could have gone for much longer. Conheço pessoalmente eu dormi por 12 horas e poderia ter ido por muito mais tempo. Some of the players decided to wake up for sunrise and to get to the beach one last time before breakfast. Alguns dos jogadores decidiram despertar para amanhecer e ao chegar à praia uma última vez antes do pequeno-almoço. After breakfast we headed off to our last game. Depois do café da manhã que chefiou o nosso último jogo para fora. It was not to far from the resort and the humidity showed. Não era para longe do resort e da umidade revelou. Once the game had started we were all soaked like we had just walked out of the shower. Assim que o jogo havia começado ensopados como estávamos todos nós tínhamos só saí do duche. The clouds eventually covered us up and cooled down a bit. As nuvens eventualmente coberto para cima e nós arrefeceu um pouco. The girls won 4-0 and the guys won 5-0. As meninas venceram 4-0 e 5-0 a gente ganhou. this was not what was important however. este não era o que era importante porém. Randon was able to share a part of his life to the kids and Kantor was able to share the gospel. Randon foi capaz de compartilhar uma parte de sua vida para as crianças e Kantor foi capaz de compartilhar o evangelho. After this Raymond, who had been traveling with us the whole trip and was a part of Score International decided to share the gospel himself. Após esta Raymond, que tinha sido viajando com a gente em toda a corrida e foi uma parte do Índice Internacional decidiu-se a compartilhar o evangelho. It was very promising to hear the passion in his voice and body language. Era muito promissor para ouvir a voz dele e paixão na linguagem corporal. Even though he had never met this group of kids you could see the love of Christ in him and hear it through his voice and that is what this whole trip was all about. Mesmo que ele nunca tinha cumprido esse grupo de garotos que você podia ver o amor de Cristo por ele e ouvi-lo através de sua voz e é isso que toda esta viagem foi toda a questão. Many of the kids ended up accepting Christ on the spot. Muitos dos miúdos acabaram por aceitar Cristo no local. We learned later that many of the kids parents were drug users and the families were very poor. Nós aprendemos mais tarde que muitos dos miúdos pais eram toxicodependentes e as famílias eram muito pobres. This was one of the more powerful times of sharing personally. Este foi um dos mais poderosos momentos de partilha pessoalmente. After all of this we headed back to the Score villa and on the long bus ride had some extremely intense games of mafia. Depois de tudo isso vamos voltar para o Índice liderado vila e sobre os longos ônibus tinha algumas extremamente intenso máfia dos jogos. Day 6 was an amazing day and was filled with times that I will remember. Dia 6 foi um dia incrível e estava cheia de vezes que eu me lembre.

As many of the other players have suggested, after spending the day at Punta Leona I am convinced that there is no better apologetic answer to God than His creation around us. Tal como muitos dos outros jogadores têm sugerido, após passar o dia em Punta Leona estou convencido de que não há melhor resposta apologética a Deus do que Sua criação que nos rodeia. No matter how well we present our theology or the amount of time we spend formulating our opinions, none of that will ever compare to the magnificence of the breath taking beauty around us. Não importa o quão bem nós apresentamos a nossa teologia ou a quantidade de tempo que gastamos formular as nossas opiniões, nenhum dos que nunca vai comparar com a magnificência do hálito levando beleza que nos rodeia.
It’s hard to leave such a wonderful paradise and know that you will soon be returning to a life that can often times be plagued with chaos and deadlines. É difícil abandonar esse paraíso e um maravilhoso saber que em breve irão regressar a uma vida que pode muitas vezes ser flagelados com o caos e os prazos. But I am excited to return to Bethel and begin to live out some of the lessons that I have learned while here in Costa Rica. Mas estou animado para voltar a Betel e começar a viver a algumas das lições que aprendemos enquanto eu tenho aqui na Costa Rica. The one thing that has revealed itself to me more than anything is the fact that we as Christians do not have to go to a foreign country to change lives. A única coisa que revelou-se para mim, mais do que tudo é o fato de que nós, como cristãos não têm de ir para um país estrangeiro para mudar vidas. Often times it is in our everyday lives that we encounter instances wherein we have opportunities to show Christ’s mercy and love to the people around us. Muitas vezes, é na nossa vida quotidiana que nos deparamos casos em que temos a oportunidade de mostrar misericórdia de Cristo e de amor ao povo que nos rodeia. Even in the most simplistic ways, whether it be starting a conversation with a complete stranger or serving someone who is in need of assistance; it is those moments that we perpetuate the Kingdom of God and fulfill the work to which we have been called. Mesmo nas formas mais simplistas, quer fosse iniciando uma conversa com um estranho ou alguém que está servindo a precisar de assistência, são esses momentos que nós perpetuar o Reino de Deus e cumprir o trabalho a que fomos chamados. And as I reflect upon my life and the hundreds of instances that I have in a given day to be a blessing to someone else, I realize how important my life is. E como eu refletir sobre minha vida e as centenas de casos que tenho em um determinado dia para ser uma bênção para alguém, eu percebo quão importante é a minha vida. Not because it is mine…but because it is God’s and there is so much that He can do with me if I allow him too. Não porque ele é meu ... mas porque ela é de Deus e aí é tanto que Ele pode fazer por mim se eu permitir que ele também.
There was an evening on this trip where a Score representative was giving a devotion and he asked our group how many of us were planning on going into full time ministry and in response a handful of us raised our hand. Houve uma noite nesta viagem onde um representante Pontuação estava dando uma devoção e ele perguntou o nosso grupo como muitos de nós estavam a decorrer planejamento ministério em tempo integral e em resposta um punhado de nós levantou a mão. But as I sat there and listened to the remainder of his devotion, it dawned on me that if we are truly going to live the life Christ has called us to then all of us as Christians should be raising our hands. Mas, como me sentei lá e ouviu o resto da sua devoção, ocorreu-me que, se é que realmente vai viver a vida que Cristo nos chamou então todos nós como cristãos devem ser elevar nossas mãos. We all are part of a full time ministry because our lives are continually ongoing, and it is our lives and our actions, rather than our words that convey to the people around us what it means to be apart of God’s Kingdom. Estamos todos são parte de um ministério em tempo integral, porque nossas vidas estão continuamente em curso, e é a nossa vida e nossas ações, nossas palavras, em vez de transmitir para as pessoas que nos cercam o que significa ser para além do Reino de Deus. And having spent the past week with 40 young adults who are all aware of this I cannot wait to see what God is going to do in the upcoming season. E ter passado a última semana com 40 jovens adultos que estão todos conscientes deste Mal posso esperar para ver o que Deus vai fazer na próxima temporada.

Day 7 Dia 7
Wow! Uau! Being a part of this trip has truly shown me the power of God. Sendo uma parte desta viagem foi realmente me mostrou o poder de Deus. As coach of both the men’s and women’s teams it is sometimes hard to keep things in balance. Como treinador de ambos os homens e mulheres equipes, às vezes, é difícil manter as coisas em equilíbrio. This week was great proof of God’s place in all of our player’s lives. Esta semana foi uma grande prova do lugar de Deus em todas as nossas vidas do jogador. I have been so honored to be involved with such great player’s who are willing to give it all up for God. Tenho estado tão honrado em estar envolvido com essa grande jogador é quem está disposto a dar tudo por Deus. More to come………………… Mais para vir ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
