Battleground Bible Church – Wednesday
Wow, it was a very busy day today!
We started out in the Capital of Santo Domingo at the “Straw Market”. So, we all got our bargaining skills achieved, and got a lot of souvenirs. Afterwards we went to a street called “El Conde” and ate lunch. We then split off into groups to 
hand out tracts. This was a very cool thing because we got to talk to several people and asked them questions about where they would go if they died today. We prayed and talked to a homeless man and got to share Christ with him. It was encouraging to see that as we shared with people immediately they were all reading their tracts. How amazing God works. So hopefully by reaching these people they will be in Heaven one day with all of us. After walking the street and reaching to others we went and visited a couple historic places.
After spending the day in the Capital we went to a place called Casa De Luz Orphanage. It is a Christian run handicap facility. It touched us all in some way. It was great to interact with the kids and just get to pick them up and hold them and play with them. The kids were excited to have someone to play with them.
As we continue in the last few days here continue to keep us in your prayers as we minister tomorrow to a few villages and orphanage.
