Battleground Bible Church – Thursday
Hope this finds everyone doing well.
This morning we traveled to La Romana (about an hour and half from the complex) and visited the girls in the orphanage. Not only were girls there, this time there were boys visiting too. It was wonderful to get to interact with both of the groups of boy and girls. We did crafts, played paddle ball, baseball and Frisbee. Towards the end we got in a big group and prayed and sang songs in both English and Spanish.
Then this afternoon we travel to JUMBO (like super Wal-Mart) and purchased 44 bags of food to feed the village. (Thank you for your support and helping us feed them) After we got the food we traveled to San Pedro (Monte Largo) and had a church service with them. It was very awesome. Brittany sang a special music, Steve shared his testimony, and Brian preached the Word!! Know matter where you can still worship God in your Language. After the service we handed out the food to each person.
On a side note for the day, continue to pray for our Team. Some of them were not able to go for they were not feeling well. Continue to pray.
