Battleground Bible Church – Monday
We had our first day of Ministry today in Quisqueya. We did a Medical / Dental Clinic with another church, Mt. Olivet from North Carolina. We had a very awesome turn out and just really had a great day all together. We had a lot of Medical staff between the two teams and with that we got to see a lot of people and have different Medical Stations. We provided Vision care as well. For the Medical we saw about 65 both in the morning and afternoon. As for the Dental area they saw about 160 people, Vision saw 30 people. So, all and all it was a very good day! Pastor Justin gave the Gospel throughout the day, which was translated by a gentleman named Kiko.
When we returned to SCORE this evening both groups began preparing for tomorrow, by packaging medications & having time of food, fellowship & devotions. We reflected upon God’s mercy & grace this day! What an AWESOME God we serve!!! Thank you all for your continued prayers!
