Domestic Trips
SCORE International now offers domestic mission trips! SCORE can now take your church to one of the Domestic Trip destinations offered below. The mission opportunities of the trip will vary in each particluar location, but SCORE will provide you with all of the necessary information to get you fully prepared for an amazing adventure!
Why join SCORE on a trip? To have the most exciting, fun filled week of your life! SCORE mission trips offer participants a chance to travel, experience different parts of the country, experience different lifestyles, see the mission field first hand, and use the talents and skills that God has given them to make an eternal impact! You will be serving as a missionary to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who may have never heard it, while participating in various types of ministry that you will love. SCORE will organize, plan and lead the entire trip. All you have to do is raise the funds to go. SCORE will assist you in making this a simple process.
SCORE domestic mission trips will be one week in length. Typical groups will travel from Saturday to Saturday but that could change depending on the destination. Upon arriving at the destination, the group will have an orientation meeting to go over basic facts, rules, expectations, and the particular ministries plans for the week. Sunday usually consists of church in the morning and an outing in the afternoon. Monday through Friday will be ministry days with some fun-time and leisure opportunites mixed in. Groups will depart for home on Saturday morning.
This is a basic weekly itinerary for most groups. SCORE desires to give the group the best experience possible; therefore the trip is totally flexible and subject to change.
There are many lasting effects of a SCORE trip, both for the mission trip participants and the kids and families who the groupis reaching out to through the local church plant.
