Northside Baptist Church (GA) - Thursday
***This is an acrostic/rhyming poem…look out for what it spells***
Down in the Dominican where the weather is humid and hot
Our group set out to the orphanage where we played with the kids a lot
Most everyone fell in love, with a kid or two or three
In the end we sponsored one, Francesca was she
Now she has new clothes and shoes and food to share
If only we could do more to show we really care
Comida (food) was served for lunch, which was rice and beans again
And we didn’t stay too long, so we could go places we’ve never been
Next we went to La Guerra, the city of war
Reaching out to the villages teaching Jesus is amor (love)
Evangecubes, dramas and testimonies were all in today’s act
People of many ages were saved and that’s a fact!
Up in the air flew baseballs, while girls danced around
But the best part of all was to see kids frowns turned upside down!
Later back at SCORE, dinner was quite nice
It consisted once more of lots of beans and rice
Catalina Island tomorrow all in the name of Christ!
