Cornerstone University Softball - Tuesday AM
Greetings!! We just got back from one of the sugar cane villages. Wow! Another super experience! We took some of the items we brought to donate… stickers, personal care things and of course candy!!! We played games and hung out with the kids for about an hour and a 1/2 and then got everyone together to share the gospel. Stephanie P. shared her testimony and I shared the story of Daniel and the Lions Den, using the kids of course to help tell the story! =) Then, our interpreter finished up with a Gospel presentation and we handed out the things we brought to the kids. The things we saw were amazing. We are definitely not in Kansas anymore Toto! A hundred kids or so came from all over the village, wrestling, climbing on backs, playing frisbee, basketball, braiding our players hair, racing Ben up & down the lane. (they wanted to beat the fast Americano) =) We have the afternoon off to rest and leave around 5:00pm for a night game. We play O & M University @ 7:00pm. We are on the same time as Michigan here.
